How do you apply to join POD?
Please email your CV and a covering letter to pod@sharpfutures.org.uk
We regularity host POD recruitment open days in which we meet potential members, explain what POD is and set tasks for individuals & groups to completed. Successful applicants will then be invited to join POD.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need any formal qualifications to join POD, however some experience in a customer facing role (such as retail or bar work) would be useful.
Do you get paid for working with POD?
Yes, you will be paid an hourly rate for all work undertaken with POD. You will also receive holiday pay plus your national insurance and tax will be covered while working with us.
Can I work another job whilst being a member on POD?
Yes, POD is designed so that members can work around their other commitments – work, education or family responsibilities for example.
I am not based in the North West, can I apply to join POD?
We are currently operating primarily in the North West so are only recruiting members from that area for ease of people getting to jobs.
Do I need to own a car to do POD jobs?
The vast majority of bookings via POD do not require you to own a car but some TV production roles will require access to locations for specific times in which a car may be required.
